Puck continued to stare up at the house before turning his face to look at her, his grin fading to a soft smile when he noticed that she wore one similar to his. He shifted the bag he had on his shoulder before nodding his head slowly at her. Why not get a tour from someone who knew the house super well? “That’d be great,” he said with a small nod before stepping back and motioning for her to step in front of him, even though he wouldn’t really need to do that - she could just walk right through him if she really needed to. It wasn’t like she was completely tangible at that moment and time, or so he thought. He didn’t ask questions, just so long as he got to touch her every once in awhile.
“Lead the way, missy,” he said as she smiled faded back into that similar grin as he allowed her to lead the way up the structure. He continued to scan his surroundings as they finally made their way up the steps and slid inside of the home. As they passed through the threshold he dropped his bags down at the front door, shrugging his shoulders as he shook the feeling off. “So, your room first?” He asked with a waggling of his eyebrow before chuckling slightly, signifying that being a joke. “Playin’, babe. Show me around. Do your thing,” he said with another nodding of his head as he closed the door behind them both and locked it. Couldn’t really be too safe, especially after that last situation he’d found himself in.
She shot him a glare when he suggested they see the bedroom first, because it was an incredibly crude comment that she hadn’t been expecting from him. Quinn pouted when he said he was joking, feeling a little foolish for believing him in the first place. Clapping her hands together, she grinned and thought for a second about where she’d show him first. “Wonderful!” She exclaimed, watching as he locked the door. She understood that it was just to be certain he was safe, but she still hoped that he felt at least a little safer being at her home than he did being in the city. “Follow me.” She instructed, motioning with her head to the kitchen. The tour went on like that for a few minutes, Quinn excitedly showing him every inch of the large house and giggling when he feigned excitement.
Once they reached her bedroom, she let out a shaky breath. It’d been a long time since she’d actually seen it, a few years or so, and she couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. She knew it hadn’t been touched since then, but it didn’t matter. It was the one piece of home she still had left, and she always feared something would happen to it. “And this..” Quinn started, clearing her throat as she delicately pushed the door open. “Is my room.” She smiled, backing up into it and keeping her eyes on him. She could see him trying to sneak a peak before he got in, and she grinned as she finally turned around, the uneasiness in her stomach fading when it was still the same. Making her way to her bed, she sat down at the edge, bringing her leg up to cross over her knee. “Would you like to have a seat?”
After spending both Christmas and New Years Eve with Quinn, Puck thought he was in the clear. He hadn’t been sent any mysterious packages or had his life threatened at his menial job and he’d even been able to start taking classes at a nearby community college. He thought he was going to be able to move on without being bogged down by his old life and by his old friends but he was very, very wrong. After a few weeks of peace and quiet he had someone come by and key the crap out of the hunk of junk car he’d bought only days before. They also managed to put the hunk of metal on blocks and jack his tires too. After having returned back to his apartment after filing a police report he found the place ransacked and the money he had stashed under his mattress was taken. He didn’t trust banks… or cops really and it kind of aided in his slight demise.
So he had taken Quinn’s advice from before. He was going to stay in her family’s old home, beach home or something, he wasn’t really sure. And she was going to stay there with him too. That was pretty much all he could’ve asked her for. Company. Anything where he got to hear her voice. After, what seemed like forever, they had eventually arrived on the front steps of her family’s old home. He adjusted his bag on his shoulder and pulled along his other suitcase as he looked down at her, grinning as he did so. “So, you used to spend a lot of time here?” He looked up at the building quickly before turning his eyes to hers again. “It seems nice on the outside. Bet it’s nice on the inside too.”
Lately, Quinn had been spending the majority of her time with Puck. It wasn’t often that she went a day without talking to him, and when she did, she always got irrationally worried that something terrible had happened. Which was ultimately why when she got a bad feeling about him not being around, she made her way to his apartment, frowning at what she saw. While she wanted to tell him that he should’ve listened to her all along, she couldn’t bring herself to do that. She knew he was probably going through some kind of inner turmoil because of the situation, and she didn’t want to make it any worse. Instead, she just vowed to be there for him, and make sure he stayed safe with her.
They easily made the trek to her family’s beach house, and it didn’t seem as though anyone had been following them or anything of the sort. Once they reached the house, she watched as he took his bags out of the trunk, waiting to gauge his reaction about the house. It really shouldn’t have mattered as much to her as it did, but she couldn’t help it. She wanted him to feel safe there, and like he could go there anytime he needed it. Sighing, she looked up at the house as he did, smiling softly. “Of course it’s nice on the inside.” Quinn said, tucking a loose piece of hair behind her ear. “I can give you a tour, if you’d like.” She grinned, motioning for him to follow her inside.
Well, how was I supposed to know you were joking?
You’d think all of a sudden I’d just be a huge dick?
I don’t know. You never know..
You’re taking advantage of what I said.
I can’t mess around?
Well, how was I supposed to know you were joking?

How am I being mean?
You’re taking advantage of what I said.
Stop it, you.
But why would the perfect specimen stop?
You’re being mean.

I mean.. I just figure that if Puck doesn’t do it for you.. no one will. You know?
I don’t know, S. Maybe we should ask them? It’s only around him, though. He’s still the only human that can see me.
Stop it, you.
Hold up. You get it. Really? Because…I’m not even sure. I mean…I’ve never….Whatever.
You can feel things, too? Ay de mi. I thought it was just me. You think Kurt and Rachel can, too? What the Hell is going on, Q? I mean…I can’t even wrap my head around all of this. It’s just so…weird.
I mean.. I just figure that if Puck doesn’t do it for you.. no one will. You know?
